All soaps are handmade the old-fashioned way in my kitchen. They are made in small batches by way of the Cold-process method. They contain high quality vegetable oil and only the purest essential and fragrance oils. My soaps contain no animal products. They are hand-cut, then cured for a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
Ingredients include Olive, Palm, Soybean, Coconut oils and Shea butter. For information about any of these oils don't hesitate to EMAIL ME! Also included may be various herbs which will are listed in the item description.

Isn't lye dangerous. Do you use lye to make your soap?

A properly made bar of homemade soap will contain no lye after being cured and dried. However, lye is used in the soapmaking process. In fact, it is not possible to make soap without lye. To make soap the lye, water and oils are combined in a chemical process called saponification. Homemade soaps of today are gentle, mild and safe instead of harsh like that made in grandma's day.

Why use handmade soap?

After using soap all of your life I bet you have not giving much thought as to what actually is in the commercial soaps that you purchase in the stores. Commercial "soaps" are actually detergent bars containing chemicals that can actually irritate and dry out your skin. The natural glycerin that moisturizes is extracted and sold to other industries. Handmade soaps, in comparison, contains all the natural glycerin and after using them you will defiantly notice the difference. Many people find after using my homemade soaps that they cut out the need for lotion entirely.
